Attorney Review Required: This section is intended as a placeholder and should be reviewed and approved by an attorney familiar with Alabama vocational school and private school licensure requirements before publication or use.
Forged In Trade is committed to maintaining a clear and fair cancellation, withdrawal, and refund process for students. Because cancellation and refund requirements may be governed by Alabama law, private school licensure rules, enrollment agreements, and other applicable regulations, the final policy must comply with all requirements that apply to the specific program, course, or training being offered.
Until a final policy is approved, students should not rely on this section as the complete cancellation or refund policy.
At a minimum, the final cancellation and refund policy should address:
Forged In Trade will follow the final cancellation and refund policy stated in the applicable enrollment agreement and any required disclosures provided to the student at the time of registration or enrollment.
Students with questions about cancellations, withdrawals, refunds, or rescheduling should contact Forged In Trade before enrolling.
Attorney Review Required: This section is intended as a placeholder and should be reviewed and approved by an attorney before publication or use, especially because Forged In Trade classes may involve hands-on instruction, tools, equipment, physical activity, and shop or jobsite style training environments.
Forged In Trade provides hands-on trade education and training. Students may participate in activities involving tools, equipment, materials, demonstrations, physical movement, and instruction in a working or simulated trade environment. These activities may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to minor injury, property damage, cuts, burns, eye injury, hearing exposure, strain, slips, falls, or other risks associated with hands-on trade work.
By participating in a Forged In Trade class, workshop, or training program, each student agrees to follow all safety instructions, wear required safety equipment, use tools and equipment only as directed, and immediately report any unsafe condition, injury, or concern to an instructor or staff member.
Students may be required to sign a separate safety waiver, liability release, or assumption of risk agreement before participating in certain classes, workshops, demonstrations, or hands-on training activities. Forged In Trade reserves the right to remove or restrict any student from participation if the student fails to follow safety instructions, misuses tools or equipment, acts recklessly, or creates a safety risk for themselves, instructors, or other students.
The final safety waiver, liability release, and assumption of risk language should be reviewed by legal counsel to ensure it is enforceable and appropriate for the specific training activities offered by Forged In Trade.
