Our Commitment

Forged In Trade is committed to making forgedintrade.com usable for as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We see this as an ongoing effort, not a one-time fix.

Standards We Aim For

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, which is the most widely recognized standard for web accessibility.

What We've Built In

• Semantic HTML structure, so screen readers can navigate the site logically
• Descriptive alt text on meaningful images
• Keyboard-accessible navigation, forms, and interactive elements
• Visible focus states and ARIA labels on interactive controls such as the mobile menu and FAQ accordions
• Respect for reduced-motion browser settings, which turns off animation for visitors who have that preference enabled
• Color and contrast choices intended to keep text readable throughout the site

Known Limitations

No website is perfectly accessible to everyone. If you encounter a page, form, or feature that doesn't work well with your assistive technology, we want to know about it so we can fix it.

The Google Maps embed on our Contact page is provided directly by Google, and its accessibility is controlled by Google rather than by us.
